For international students who want to enroll into a Singapore government school, the only way is by taking the AEIS examination and acing it. However, we all know how challenging the AEIS examination is. Every year, students halt their studies locally and attend preparatory schools in Singapore, only for a chance to attempt the AEIS examination and enter into the local government school.
The problem is, demand exceeds supply. The demand to want to attend the local schools outweighs the number of vacancies available for these schools. Due to a fixed school quota, only an allocated number of seats are available each year to allow for any new international students to attend the local schools.
Undeterred by the stiff competition among foreign students, parents spend tons of money on assessments books, preparatory courses and additional tuition classes for their child. For some, they decide to give up after multiple attempts at the AEIS papers and return to their native countries to resume their studies. Heng Yuen (English)
Heng Yuen specialises in equipping foreign students with essential skills to excel in the AEIS English paper. With proven track records, he is highly sought-after by Asian students and their parents. Many of his past students passed on first or second attempt. His lessons are well known for being interesting and enjoyable. He is particularly skillful in teaching students how to choose suitable essay questions according to their own language ability as well as methods in tackling tricky MCQ questions.
Jin (Mathematics)
A passionate individual that goes all out for his students, Jin makes sure his students understand the Mathematic concepts and learn to apply them even when the structure of the questions changes. Jin helps his students build their foundation, imparts them with effective strategies and techniques to help ace their Mathematics. Adopting an out-of-textbook style teaching, students find Jin’s lessons engaging, fun and interesting.
